Tenesha Conley is a dedicated licensed mental health therapist with CSW credentials. Her passion for guiding individuals toward healing and empowerment has been a driving force throughout her career. Tenesha began her educational journey by earning a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Weber State University. Building on this foundation, she pursued her Master's in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University. During these formative years of learning and growth, she discovered her calling to make a difference in the lives of young people.
With a deep-seated belief in the power and potential of the youth, Tenesha views them as the cornerstone of our future. Her unwavering belief in their potential inspires hope and optimism for the future. She recognizes the importance of equipping them with the necessary tools to navigate life's challenges and cultivate emotional regulation and intelligence. She believes this is integral to creating a better, more compassionate world for future generations.
Tenesha's therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that every person can overcome obstacles. She guides individuals through the healing journey of complex trauma and behavioral issues, providing the client with support and tools and ensuring the fulfillment of their essential needs.
As a mother of three and a survivor of trauma, Tenesha's personal experiences have deeply influenced her professional path. Her interactions with clients, where she encountered unique and complex issues, inspired her to write children's books, a testament to her empathy and unwavering dedication to helping others. This dedication reassures clients of her commitment to their well-being.
Tenesha aims to help her clients and others facing similar struggles through her books. She seeks to provide a gentle yet impactful way for youth to understand and navigate tough topics. Her books serve as a beacon of hope and guidance for children and families on their journey toward healing and resilience.
